AT120 - Creating 508 Compliant PowerPoint 2007 Presentations

Description:

This introductory class will enable students to create polished PowerPoint presenations that meet Section 508 requirements using the HHS PowerPoint 508 Checklist - http://www.hhs.gov/web/policies/checklistppt.html.

Objectives:

  • Making PowerPoint documents accessible
  • Preparing documents for PDF conversion
  • Choosing appropriate fonts, colors and backgrounds
  • Testing documents for compliance
  • Labeling images
  • Making text accessible
